I Predicted the iPhone 3GS 18 months before it was announced!

The recent announcement of the new Apple iPhone 3G S reminded me of something…

In a Video titled “crazy macworld predictions” originally created and uploaded January 14th 2008 it shows me correctly predicting the features of the new Apple iPhone 3gs announced a full year and a half later at WWDC in June of 2009

I am a FREAKING GENIUS! ;)

BUILD IT - LEGO Music Video

Build it, is an animated LEGO Music video I was commissioned  to create for a global biotechnology tools company called invitrogen in July 2008.
Invitrogen supplied the specially created music, and asked me to create a light hearted music video that would make fun of using crappy lab equipment as a way of extolling the virtues of their own gear.

For those wondering, this was the first time I used a MAC to animate with LEGO (previously my workflow for stopmotion was all done on a PC, even well after I switched) the animation was created on my macbook using iStopmotion and a JVC miniDV camera hooked up via firewire.

To anyone thinking about doing this kind of stuff, I heartily recommend iStopMotion, it’s a brilliant piece of software, and MUCH more powerful, flexible and advanced to the tools I was using on my WinXP machine (on which I created vids like the viral hit Circle Circle Dot Do), and allowed me to work in true widescreen for the first time instead of cropping an image from a 4:3 webcam has I did for the widescreen animated series Meatspace.
